We are currently seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking GP for our Salaried Portfolio Innovation (SPIN) Fellowship, collaborating with an established Northwest London (NWL) Practice and the NWL Digital First Team.

     

    Job Description:

    As a SPIN Fellow, you will have the opportunity to develop both generalist and specialist skills while contributing to the advancement of Digital Health in Primary Care. This collaborative scheme, supported by Health Education England, NHS England, and NHS Improvement, offers new and early-career salaried GPs within 12 months of qualification the chance to engage in a range of portfolio options, including clinical leadership, professional development, and education, while maintaining a substantive role as a salaried GP.

    Your fellowship role within the Northwest London Digital First Team will involve supporting and enhancing digital services to improve patient care in the local area. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies that bring healthcare in England up to date with the modern world, enabling better collaboration between patients and primary care workers.

    Responsibilities:

    ·         Undertake a fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of an extension for another 12 months.

    ·         Fulfill a minimum of 4 Clinical Sessions per week at Premier Medical Centre/TheUniDoctor.

    ·         Dedicate 1 session per week to working with the NWL Digital First Team.

    ·         Utilize the Emis system for managing records and information.

    ·         Engage in daily debriefs with an on-site Mentor, as required.

    ·         Participate in monthly GP Peer group mentoring with the NWL SPIN team.

    ·         Attend weekly clinical meetings with a friendly and approachable clinical team.

    ·         Benefit from monthly consultant teaching sessions.

    ·         Contribute to regular team building days to foster a collaborative work environment.

    ·         Receive support for training and development opportunities.

    Person Specification:

    ·         GP must hold MRCGP certification and have received their CCT within the last 12 months (18 months if taken maternity/paternity/adoptive/sick leave)

Starting Salary £10500 -11000 per session + Bonus on top (Negotiable dependent on experience)
